About Chrome, Google says — “This is just the beginning — Google Chrome is far from done. We’re releasing this beta for Windows to start the broader discussion and hear from you as quickly as possible. We’re hard at work building versions for Mac and Linux too, and will continue to make it even faster and more robust.”
The web gets better with more options and innovation. Google Chrome is another option, and we hope it contributes to making the web even better.
I decided to see the Chrome and installed it in my laptop. After a quick comparison I found Google Chrome is much faster than Firefox. Everything seems to open faster. Chrome usage of memory is around 50% of what Firefox use. Wow.

I know Google and Firfox have some bond according to which Google pays Firfox to be the default search engine. When Google Chrome become popular than Firefox may go down.
Hence, it is very crucial for Firefox to keep its market share to ensure continuity of revenue from Google. So success of Chrome Browser could be the first real threat to Firefox.
